Are you an experienced HR professional? Do you have experience of strategic management of human resources and organisational development?

The post holder will lead the Human Resources, Organisational Development and Facilities functions providing advice on all people management issues for this Housing Association. Including providing strong and supportive leadership to the HR team, contributing the formative discussions to ensure HR, OD and facilities matter are incorporated into decision making at strategic operational levels in all areas of resourcing, developing, rewarding, exiting, adding and creating value, and policy. Producing annual HR & OD service plans, monitoring and controlling budgets. Participating in agreed training in all areas of the organisation’s work, including e-learning and attendance at internal and external courses. In addition, managing facilities, including utilities and office security in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

About you:
• Experience of strategic management of HR & OD, successfully developing and implementing change within a customer-facing organisation.
• Ideally a full Member of CIPD Level 7.
• Ability to deliver effective performance management and improvements against challenging targets.
• Able to successfully inspire, lead, motivate, develop and manage staff teams.
• Able to translate strategy and employment legislation into practice suited to the culture.
• Up to date knowledge of development and training and frameworks and their development and implantation.
