Do you have experience of working in an HR-related environment? Do you have experience in supporting HR teams with administration and able to provide advice on a range of employment issues?

An opening has arisen with an Educational institution who are seeking an focused and proactive HR Officer/ Human Resources .
Your role will be providing the HR team with experienced mid-level advice, support and administration. You will provide customer-focused advice and help out with recruitment selection, employment policies and procedures in line with policy.

Skills/Experience

• First point of contact
• Process driven
• Knowledge of employment procedures (e.g. disciplinary, grievance, absence)
• Basic knowledge of Employment Law
• Employment contracts
• Equal opportunities and health & safety policies
• Promote the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults
• Provide information to manager, staff and potential employees
• Induction process
• General HR activities
• Writing adverts, job descriptions
• Working and negotiating with agencies
• Some marketing exposure
• Supporting interviews e.g. admin, booking feedback, questions
• Must have current DBS
