Temporary Credit Controller

Temporary Credit Controller
£16.81 per hour

Your role will be to collect cash and reconcile it to credit notes and invoices owed to the charity. You will manage customer accounts and settle monthly accounts in a timely manner to collect outstanding debts.

Key duties:
• Work with colleagues across the charity to ensure that invoices are all paid in a timely manner
• Build and strengthen relationships with debtors and work with the financial business partner to resolve any queries in a timely manner.
• Work with the Financial Business Partner and budget holders on effective credit control, working with colleagues from across the charity to ensure timely payment.
• Chase outstanding debts, answer queries, maintain constant communication with regular debtors, provide reports to managers and work with them to secure payments.
• Ad hoc financial duties

Experience required:
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience as Credit Controller
• Proficient in MS Excel Intermediate
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proactive approach, verbal and written
• Excellent telephone skills and able to work on own initiative to resolve queries efficiently and effectively
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in all tasks
• High levels of integrity, resilience, and good organisation skills
• Sound knowledge of bookkeeping
• Ability to understand and communicate financial information to non-financial
• Staff using clear language and able to adapt style tailored to the audience
