Senior Buyer/Head of Commerce need to join high-growth, fast-paced E-grocery business based in great offices in Hammersmith. This is a very exciting opportunity to become an integral part of this organisation as they rapidly grow their UK operations, having already achieved major international success.


Responsibilities:
• Own the A to Z planning & buying process, implement improvements and work to best practice
• Develop plans on revenue, profit, inventory and purchase amount for the category in charge
• Manage inventory health by ensuring efficient inventory flows and defining promotional campaigns
• Work with various internal teams to help drive tools and process improvements
• Troubleshoot and drive resolution on issues, work with buyers to plan seasonal products and reduce errors in
forecasting
• Work with cross functional IT teams to further automate key processes
• Passionately advocate for the customer and category


Person Spec:
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; experience using data and metrics to test theories, confirm
assumptions, and measure success
• Degree in business or engineering· 5+ years of relevant FMCG experience in high volume food retail (Lidl, Aldi,
Tesco, Sainsbury, Waitrose, Morrisons) or E-grocery
• Proven, successful supply chain professional with several years’ experience in demand forecasting and buying or
top tier consulting
• Proven track record in taking ownership, driving results and moving with speed to implement ideas in a fast-
paced environment
• Strong problem solving skills with commercial acumen
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Highly innovative, flexible and self-directed
• Advanced excel skills
