Do you have experience of growing and developing diverse income streams from trusts, foundations and statutory sources? Are you a skilled, creative and flexible individual wanting to join a successful fundraising department?
The post holder will work with the Head of Programme Funding to develop and implement strategies which maximize long term income growth from institutional funders, to fund this fantastic charity’s UK and international programmes. Maintain a detailed understanding of the programme strategy, research funding opportunities and identify projects that fit the criteria of key funders, advising services managers on how both existing and a pipeline of new projects can best be developed to maximize funding success. Manage the process to develop and write successful applications to funders from research to development of the application or proposal, budgets, sign-off, submission, assessment, contract negotiation, reporting and evaluation, working collaboratively with services teams at all stages.

About you:
• Significant personal experience of achieving six figure multi-year grants from sources such as DFID, EU, lottery and other major international and bi-lateral funders and a sound understanding of the current UK and International fundraising environment.
• Exceptional writing skills, able to produce accurate and detailed high-level reports and business plans which express complex concepts simply, clearly and persuasively, with the ability to summarise key points succinctly and creatively.
• Demonstrable ability to take the lead in complex bid development and in assessment meetings with funders, to profitably manage high level relationships.
• Highly developed analytical skills to produce, manage and control budgets and interpret numerical data.
