Do you hold an SafeLives IDVA qualification? Do you have access to your own car? Would you be happy to travel regularly as part of your role? Are you able to start immediately?
An exciting opportunity has arisen with a prominent Welfare Charity as a Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA). Your role will be to provide practical and emotional support to venerable individuals, applying principles of effective casework. Establish risks and prioritise. Develop and deliver individual support and risks management plans, coordinating through MARAC.
The successful candidate will have;
• SaveLives qualification – IDVA
• Experience of providing strong emotional and practical support
• Experience in identifying risks
• Providing non-judgemental, non-directive and confidential support
• Experience of attending court in a professional capacity
• Understanding of multi-agency partnership structures including MARAC.
