Management Accountant

Our client is an award-winning housing services organisation based in Central London. Our client prides itself on delivering excellent customer service and has recently been placed within the top 100 best not-for-profit organisations to work for in 2015. They are seeking a Management Accountant to support the Finance Division on a temporary basis. The role of a Management Accountant is to ensure monthly management accounts are completed to a high standard. As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for:

- Producing statutory accounts

- Maintaining business financial models

- Producing monthly reports and journals outlining business costs, accruals, transactions for purchases of properties

- Preparing financial reports and updates to the management and board

- Suggesting ways to improve current processes to the management and board

- Reconciling balance sheets for various portfolios

- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders in order to maintain working relationships

The ideal candidate will have a background in the housing and/or not-for-profit sector and will hold either a full or part ACCA/CCAB qualification. It is imperative the ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a confident grasp of Microsoft Excel, as well as the desire to add value for an established company which promotes a friendly and down-to-earth working culture. As this is a temporary role for 3 months and more, the role will have an immediate start.
