Finance Officer

Finance Officer
£28,000 - £35,000 dependent on experience
Full-time 35 hours per week
5-days office based- London, Westminster

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Finance Officer to join a not-for-profit organasition with a great environment, and positive and strong company culture. The role of Finance Officer will be supporting the Senior Finance Manager in the delivery of all the financial tasks of the Association.

Key duties:

All data entry on SAGE accounting system. Approximately 7,400 transactions added to Sage each year
Managing invoicing process and putting in place activity trackers
Sales and purchase ledger
Supporting with monthly Payroll and maintenance of confidential personnel records
Supporting with credit control
Issue of supplier and staff expense payments. There are approximately 3,000 supplier invoices to process.
Banking and bank reconciliation
Petty cash


Experience required:

Previous experience of working in a busy finance environment in a similar role
Experience of managing sales and purchase ledger
Team player
Excellent eye for detail
Able to work in busy environment managing a high volume of transactions
First class communications skills and confidence liaising with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
