12-month FTC
Part-time: 4 days a week
£40,000 (£50,000 full-time equivalent)
Hybrid – 1 day London office (potential to consider 1 day fortnightly in London)

This is an exciting role looking for someone who will be part of shaping a new pilot programme for this global professional membership body. As Regional Development Lead you will be responsible for creating and enriching the organisations member experience, by leading community and member engagement in England & Wales and in the Crown Dependencies (Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man).

As Regional Development Lead you will ack as the lynchpin between Head Office in London and the local branches to develop a member engagement programme to bring all elements of the experience together. This will involve designing and delivering communications and content tailored to members’ needs, creating opportunities for members to better connect and learn from one another, stay up-to-date and advance their career.

Key duties and responsibilities:
• Pilot a new approach to member engagement in two pilot regional ‘hubs’ – England & Wales and Crown Dependencies
• Undertake market research to better understand the local needs of members in the regions. To identify improvements required to add further value to members.
• Coordinate the design, development and delivery of an engagement programme (content, marketing and events)
• Work hand-in-hand with volunteers, who are involved in local branches, and special interest groups, to organise regular engagement activities.
• Work with colleagues in communications, marketing and events functions and volunteers in branches to deliver a programme of tailored communications and events.
• Create new and adapt existing events to provide greater access, increased engagement and value (supported by the events team who will manage logistics and marketing team who will help to create demand).
• Identify opportunities to better connect members
Skills and experienced required:
• Previous experience working in a similar ‘regional development’ capacity, within a purpose-led organisation
• Proven track record in leading projects which deliver tangible results at pace
• Events and marketing communications
• Excellent communicator with the ability to motivate and engage stakeholders
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
• Excellent management and coordination skills
• Ability to lead people and programmes (managing budget, resources and time)
• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Words and Excel
• Flexible, resourceful and able to perform despite tight schedules
