Executive Assistant

Our client, a health organisation with 160 years of history is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Chief Executive in providing high quality personal secretarial and administrative support.

Main duties will include
• Assisting with the management of meeting room bookings and loan of corporate laptops.
• Effectively and appropriately handling correspondence on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer and Directors.
• Preparing and circulating all Board and Management Committee Agendas and Papers.
• Taking extensive minutes, as required at all Board and Management Committee meetings.
• Preparing accurate and appropriate letters
• Effectively drafting high quality reports, including researching, analysing, evaluating and presenting information.
• Ensuring effective management and analysis of incoming and outgoing mail
• Ensuring effective administrative support to Committees and meetings
• Scheduling meeting dates, preparing draft agendas, coordinating committee reports and producing minutes.

To apply you should have:
• Extensive experience as an Executive Assistant or PA at a senior level including managing complex diary commitments
• Experience of setting up, managing and maintaining administration and filing systems
• Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to respond effectively to multiple priorities
• Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft office software especially Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Accurate typing speeds of a minimum of 50 wpm
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Extensive minute taking experience
