Senior Supporter Contact Officer

Do you have excellent supporter care or customer service experience? Want to work for a charity that’s doing fantastic work to support animals internationally?

The successful candidate will co-ordinate the daily priorities for the Supporter Contact Team, take the lead on training and ensuring the team have up to date briefs and other information, and be the key liaison with the Community Fundraising Team. You will also engage with and steward both existing and potential supporters, responding to donor and potential donor queries via telephone and email; always with a view to providing a first-class donor experience whilst also seeking to retain and increase support of the charity.

About you:
• Extensive experience of working within a Supporter Care or Customer Services team in a supervisory or team leader position.
• Excellent call handling skills and the ability to respectfully, honestly and transparently adjust communication to audience recognising the importance of diversity.
• Experience of communicating effectively with different audiences via various channels.
• Able to multitask effectively, remain calm and professional when dealing with complex queries and complaints and support others to do so.
• IT literate, across all standard software’s with experience of using databases and data collection.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, sharing information and contributing towards a positive team culture by engaging with others.
