Membership Coordinator - 6 Month FTC

Membership Coordinator
£28,000 per annum, pro rata
6 Month FTC
Hybrid - London office 1 day per week

This is an exciting opportunity to join a professional membership body as a Membership Coordinator. You will be joining a collaborative and supportive Membership Team in a key role to maintain high standards of integrity in all matters relating to the company, ensuring the best professional interests of the company and its members, and that members, staff and third parties receive a good quality of service. Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor email inbox two days a week to ensure queries are dealt with promptly.
• Respond to telephone queries from existing members and provide prospective new applicants/members with the
relevant joining information.
• Maintain and update membership records.
• Assist with the input of weekly enrolment information and oversee related administration on the database of new
students and Affiliate Members.
• Input weekly exam results, resits and transfers data from our education providers into the database, logging
final graduation dates as appropriate.
• Input CPD course enrolments for non-members into the database.
• Review and approval of member work address updates from the website, ensuring any changes are approved in
a timely manner.
• Process applications and oversee the maintenance of subscriptions, including subscribers from the Employer
Partnership Programme.
• Participate in regular departmental progress meetings recommending ideas for improving processes within the
membership team.
• Work closely with internal departments including Marketing, Finance, Professional Standards and Professional
Development as appropriate, as well as our education provider – CLT International.
• Support team members as required.
• Perform other related/ad hoc duties as delegated by the Membership & Database Manager.

Experience Required:

• Customer service experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Accurate data inputting skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience in working with a contact/membership database or similar database.
• Experience in working with Salesforce or similar software.
• Highly organised with a high degree of initiative and strong attention to detail.
• Work in a membership or customer service role.
