The post holder will lead and manage the public fundraising function for this inspirational organisation to maximise income in line with strategy. As a key member of the fundraising senior management team, contribute to the overall fundraising strategy with the support of the Director of Fundraising and Communications. Help build, sustainable regular income through a young individual giving programme, finding new and innovative ways to create engagement and income for the charity. The successful candidate will also ensure an exceptional supporter care experience is provided to UK supporters and will also develop and embed digital strategies into the public fundraising team’s plans and encourage the use of smart data analysis & insight to inform future fundraising strategy.

About you:
• Experience of developing and implementing a strategy and plan, with a clear understanding of direct marketing and digital fundraising.
• Proven experience of leadership and line management of teams
• Experience of working in a senior role within a relevant consumer marketing environment.
• Proven experience of relationship fundraising
• Demonstrable experience in developing new products, events or services from customer/donor insight and experience of database marketing/customer segmentation to target customers.
• Proven experience in strategic planning, budgeting, benchmarking and monitoring performance
