Conference Service Manager

A popular health charity is seeking a Conference Services Manager to join their team on a 4 month temporary contract. Working with the Conference Manager you will assist in project managing a range of high quality events.

As Conference Services Manager:

The Conference Services Manager will take full responsibility for the administration, registration and communication elements for the annual Diabetes UK Professional conference and any other conferences allocated by the Conference Manager. They will line manage and oversee the Conference Co-ordinator and any temporary staff that may be required.

This role will also take overall responsibility for the administration function of the team and look to constantly improve processes, procedures and compliance.

Skills and knowledge required:

Conference and events, ranging from small to the large scale events
Event registration management and onsite delivery
Online registration software i.e. Aventri or similar
Management of a small team
Streamlining processes to improve performance and efficiency
