Home or office based
12 Month FTC
21-35 hours per week (salary pro rata for part-time hours)

Are you an excellent communicator able to influence stakeholders and public policy? Do you thrive in building relationships that together create change?

Our client is a Coalition of organisations seeking to bring about change regarding a specific Health concern. The Public Affairs Manager will work within the coalition to lead on the development and delivery of public affairs and shape public debate to progress in policy change and review.

You will manage relationship with coalition member to make sure that campaigns and influencing is both impactful and aligned.

Key Responsibilities;

• Develop public affairs strategy for the member coalition
• Create and deliver long term policy recommendations in government
• Produce detailed evidence based reports and briefings
• Develop strong relationships with all the members, policymakers, MP’s

Experience required;
• Strong knowledge and understanding of working within health systems
• Experienced in developing political campaigns and influencing strategies
• Ability to work in a complex setting with multi organisation goals and priorities
• Effectively multi-task, managing multiple projects at any one time
• Exception at engaging with and influencing parliamentarians and key decision makers
• Ability to translate complex policy and evidence into simple and compelling messages.
• First class relationships building, with the ability to influence at all levels
