Do you have experience of managing the operations of oversees programmes and facilities for a charity or not for profit organisation? Are you a highly innovative and creative thinker who is both self-motivated and a team player?

Working with this International charity, you will manage overseas programmes and facilities, integrating with organisational strategy, standard operating procedures and impact reporting frameworks. Improve and standardise procedures, ensuring all projects meet legislative and regulatory requirements as well as improving two-way communication between head office and overseas programmes. This includes leading on all matters related to facilities, health and safety, staff recruitment, retention and development and human resources procedures generally. In addition, you will also lead on the production of annual budgets for the operations department and support country staff in budgeting and producing regular updates for the Chief Executive, including narrative and statistical input into SPANA council reports.

About you:
• Experience in a leadership role at middle or senior management in an appropriate body, involving effective management of people, systems and policies
• Experience of working effectively without close supervision, setting goals in line with strategic aims
• IT literate, including Microsoft Office. An ability to rapidly adapt to new software
• Proven ability to balance the competing demands of multiple projects
• Strong persuasion skills and ability to lead, motivate and develop others
• A creative approach to problem solving and the ability to communicate clearly and assertively with staff at all levels
