The Medical Secretary will provide efficient and high quality secretarial services while maintaining a professional manner at all times as the first point of contact for dealing with queries from clients.
It is essential that you have an audio typing speed of at least 35 words per minute and proficient in the use of MS Office.
Other duties will include data entry and pricing of all pathology cases. This includes audio typing and additional reports and having a sharp eye for detail. The Medical Secretary will be aware, efficient and generally helpful with the use of initiative in accomplishing additional tasks around the office.
The Medical Secretary should be highly organised, flexible and able to work well in a team. Previous medical experience is desirable but not essential, provided you have excellent administrative experience.
