This is an exciting entry level Trust and Foundations fundraising role, working for a respected international charity with a long history of supporting their beneficiaries and their families around the world. This is a great opportunity for an early-career fundraiser to develop skills, gain experience, and make a meaningful difference.
As Junior Trusts & Foundations Officer, you’ll play a key role in securing charitable funding to support global welfare projects. Working closely with the Trusts & Foundations Manager, you’ll research potential funders, prepare proposals, and manage a portfolio of existing donors.

Key duties and responsibilities:
• Research and identify new trusts and foundations aligned with the charity’s priorities
• Draft and support compelling funding proposals and impact reports
• Manage a portfolio of four-figure funders, building long-term relationships
• Maintain accurate fundraising records and monitor income pipelines
• Prepare funder communications, including thank-you letters and updates
• Support compliance with GDPR and fundraising policies

Skills and experience required:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent research, analysis and attention to detail
• Confident managing multiple tasks and deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with data and reporting
• Collaborative, organised, and proactive in approach
• Empathy for the charity’s mission and values
