Employee Relations

Support the HR Partner with support in regard to ER cases including note taking at confidential meetings, letter writing and implementing any related changes onto the HR system: Workday
Provide guidance to managers on basic ER cases e.g. maternity, paternity, VISAs and basic absence
Review pre-employment checks and manage any queries efficiently and effectively: escalating high risk cases to the HR Operations + Recruitment Manager where appropriate and managing conversations with candidate and line manager
Keep ER tracker up to date regarding your cases
Onboarding + Off Boarding

Issue offer letters and contracts to new starters within two working days
Issue relevant pre-employment checks
Support candidates with any queries relating to their terms and conditions
Ensure relevant trackers are kept up to date
Input new starters onto the HR system
Scan in relevant new starter paperwork for electronic filing
Work with recruitment to ensure all new starter documentation is returned
Ensure all checks are in place and documentation back before new starters first payroll run
Manage new starter communications both to candidate and line managers/new team
Send new starter to finance for Expenses system (Concur)
Allocate new starter a buddy and manage introduction
Manage resignations and confirm receipt; confirm end dates and calculate leave
HR Inbox

Manage the HR Inbox in conjunction with the other HR Assistant and HR Administrator
Respond to all queries within two working days
Knowledge and Experience

Experience of delivering ER advice in a highly commercial environment
Experience of Workday would be highly advantageous
Educational Qualifications

Ideally CIPD Level 5 Qualified
Degree Educated or qualified by experience
A-Levels or Equivalent
GCSE Maths and English or equivalent grade C or above
