Our Story

The Maine Group has and always will be a consultancy specialising in the recruitment and retention of the highest quality of personnel.

Based in the heart of our client base in London for over 30 years, we know the West-End and City, the culture, the economy, the people, the heartbeat.

Our CEO, Meeta Sahni, joined the business in 1997 as Financial Controller and realised immediately that she had become part of something special, a business built on relationships. Meeta was so committed to the way that The Maine Group did business and the value that we added to our clients’ world that she bought the business out in 2011 and has seen it go from strength to strength.

It was with this passion that The Maine Group was created to partner with London businesses in providing them with their secretarial and admin support staff. What made us unique is that we offered a three month 100% financial guarantee. We were the first and only ones then and we are the only ones now who offer this as standard.

As a true partnership we are able to offer the full suite of recruitment solutions and again with quality and service as the driving forces of our business we created a methodology that was an exec search style service for contingency based recruitment.
