Employment Law Webinar - Managing Disciplinaries and Grievances 21st May 2015Posted on 24th April 2015
From “sloping shoulder” managers to deleted email trails, managing conflict can be a testing time for any organisation. Join Boyes Turner’s Employment Team for a two part webinar series focusing on the key areas of disciplinaries and grievance management.
Part 1 on 21 May at 12 noon will focus on managing disciplinaries and we will look at issues including – what is reasonable investigation, who is the employee’s “companion” and what is their role in a disciplinary meeting, and when is it safe to dismiss? The relevant procedural issues will be explored in detail along with recent unfair dismissal case law and examples of common mistakes and errors so that participants have a practical understanding.
With maximum unfair dismissal compensation now standing at over £92,500 the stakes have never been higher for employers to get the process right.
In part 2 after the summer break, we will look at grievance management.
Both webinars have been designed for HR professionals and managers of all levels.
If you manage a team or are involved in current disciplinary issues in your organisation, or if you are looking for a refresher update, these webinars are for you.
The webinar is LIVE. There is also a “listen again” facility if you can’t join us on the day.
We'd love for you to join us!
