It’s Administrative Professional Day, formally Secretaries Day, and we want to say a huge thank you to all our wonderful candidates that work so hard! We love working with all the Executive Assistants, Personal Assistants, Office Managers, Team Assistants, Receptionists, and all the administrative staff in and around London so we wanted to celebrate the day with all our terrific Maine candidates!
Secretaries Day was originally established in 1952 by Harry Klemfuss, who recognised the importance and the value of secretarial duties in a company. Klemfuss founded this day to encourage both women and men to develop and utilise their skills in their secretarial careers, and for businesses to appreciate their employees. After all, secretaries and the work they do are the lifeline of any organisation!
Since then, the importance of Secretaries Day has grown and has evolved into Administrative Professionals Day to encompass the vast array of positions that keep the back office running.
