Working for an international brand charity you will be joining the Public Engagement team. The focus of the job will be fundraising administration and supporter care; managing regular donors with customer service, and processing donations that come in, whether by direct debit, cheque, from a school or an individual.

The role will monitor the complaints and general inboxes for donors and gift givers daily, communicating with prompt and professional customer service. You will also work closely with the Salesforce team and email team in ensuring that all the systems involved in donor work are smoothly integrated, manage the thanking process, working with multiple teams to ensure all donors are given the relevant thank you.

Key tasks:
• Provide excellent customer service to donors, monitoring inboxes, phone lines and managing complaints.
• Process transactions across multiple systems, ensuring that all data is up to date, including working with financial data. Working closely with the Salesforce and data team to automate processes and maintain data.
• Is responsible for ensuring all changes and communications are developed and delivered in line with the organisation’s privacy policies and are compliant with GDPR, PECR and the IoF guidelines.
• Manage the thanking policy overview, ensuring all donors are thanked according to the policy
• Be the organisational contact for external fundraising/finance systems like JustGiving, PayPal, WorldPay.

Experience required:
• Experience with customer relations systems and direct debit systems, use of personal data and the GDPR requirements that are inherent in using data.
• Experience of dealing with supporter enquiries and managing complaints
• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
• Ability to provide high levels of internal and external customer support, demonstrating calm, efficiency, and a positive approach
• Knowledge of and good skills with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, and experience of specialist CRM systems e.g., Salesforce with be advantageous
