Our client, a global think tank is seeking a Senior Grants Manager to join their team for a period of 12 months to cover maternity leave. The Senior Grants Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that the global grant portfolio is managed to the highest standards, ensuring that the client delivers on its commitments to donors as well as coordinating business development activities.

Key Responsibilities include:
• Providing high-level quality support across the entire grant management cycle, leading on key grant management processes for the organisation
• Supporting the development of new policies and processes in different operational areas, e.g. procurement, partnership management
• Leading the close out of key grants and ensuring all contractual obligations have been met
• Providing financial oversight to key projects and ensuring income and expenditure are tracked accurately
• Preparing project financial reports and supporting project teams by providing quality assurance Contributing to accurate salary and overhead forecasting for the organisation
• Serving as the operations lead for identified high-risk projects, working as a focal point for project managers and the Head of Project Operations
• Providing oversight to the development of grant applications and preparation of donor budgets

To apply you should have/be:
• Relevant experience or university level degree
• Proven track record working with institutional donors to report on grant progress
• Experience of managing contracts and agreements
• Experience of line managing teams
• Experience of managing procurement and contracting processes
