We are currently recruiting for a worldwide leading healthcare provider for a Legal Executive to work in-house on a sole basis to support their growing business. As the Legal Executive you will be a paralegal or commercial solicitor/lawyer with global experience, who will hands on legal advice and services to all areas of the business with a global reach across; data privacy and security, healthcare, IT, GDPR, adverting and complex commercial contracts.

As an adviser to the business reporting directly to the MD, you will be confident and practical, with clear and concise communication skill and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Advising internal clients on legal matters and risks relevant to the business, including privacy, compliance and regulatory matters, GDPR and online advertising across Europe & USA (including United Kingdom, Germany, Portugal, Poland, Nordics and others)
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts including customer agreements, professional services contracts, content development and license agreements, data agreements and software and technology license agreements
• Working with senior management team, including clinical and operational teams to grow business model globally
• Reviewing and ensuring all insurance policies are adequate for business requirements
• Researching and responding to general legal enquiries from in-house clients that may relate to regulatory issues, intellectual property, privacy matters, product liability, data misuse, and consumer complaints
• Working and liaising with external lawyers and regulatory bodies in both the UK and globally
• Updating and revising contract template agreements and integrating contracts of acquired companies
• Identifying, assessing and briefing the senior team on potential and actual risks and legal exposures and taking appropriate proactive and remedial measures

Experience required

• Must be qualified to practice in the United Kingdom and have a law degree from an accredited law school
• Proven experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts is essential
• Detail oriented with strong organisational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to think in a strategic and creative way to find and provide legal advice and solutions
• Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams, including marketing, clinical, finance and
• business development
• Ability to balance competing priorities in a high volume work environment
• Ability to work independently
