If yes, then this could be the next role for you. We are working with an exciting organisation who are the leading the way in new food systems to move away from industrial animal agriculture into more clean and sustainable food proteins

You role will be to engage with scientists, science media, and policymakers to up scale the alternative proteins sector through three principal activities:- inspiring more scientists to work on alternative proteins, mobilising research funding, and analysing the sector.

Experience required:

• A Ph.D. in a relevant scientific field (e.g., stem cell biology, tissue engineering, biochemical engineering, synthetic biology, plant molecular biology, plant genetics, crop science), or the equivalent (e.g. a master's degree plus significant relevant experience).
• Professional experience in industry, and research and development funding agencies, academia, government
• A good strategic mind: and ability to develop a new strategy in a start-up environment
• Ability to work well independently and under pressure, set priorities, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
