£10 per hour
Part-time 15 Hours per hours week
1-year Fixed term contract (with possibility of extension)
London (Homebased then Lambeth & Lewisham office)

Are you a natural born leader with a passion for empowering youth?
Do you have Employability and or HR experience? Have you previously worked with young people to help them gain employment?
Are you looking for a part-time role to fit around other work or commitments?
A small youth focused charity, helping to empower young people in London by giving them the tools and support they need to succeed are looking for a HR and Employability Academy Manager. The postholder will coordinate recruitment internally and young people through the charity’s own recruitment agency. This includes developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing job adverts, reviewing application forms, shortlisting, interviewing and offer management. Along with advising on and implementing policies relating to the effective use of GDPR. Other core responsibilities will involve ongoing review and enhancement of charities HR policies and procedures in line with legislative developments. The Employability Manager will manage documentation and maintain employee records, lead Induction and personal development of staff. Deal with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures; planning, organising training and analysing training needs in conjunction with departmental managers.

About you:
• Relevant HR or employability experience and knowledge of the employment/youth sector.
• Proven experience of managing a recruitment process from end to end.
• An understanding of basic HR policies and procedures.
• Effective organisation and communication skills. With excellent negotiation skills, you will be able to positively
influence at all levels.
• Stakeholder management, partnership building or business development experience.
• Dynamic, results driven and able to evidence performance across a range of outcomes.
• Confident user of digital technology, including Google Drive.
• Positive approach to the adoption of innovative products and tools
• Line management and supervision experience is not essential but desired.
• Knowledge of employment law is also desired.
