Senior Press & PR Officer

A highly reputable Charity based in the City has an exciting opportunity for someone to take the lead role on achieving their vision.
Looking for someone to take the lead on raising profile to support awareness of their service impact, their campaigns and fund-raising initiatives.
To initiate and coordinate impact media coverage nationally and work alongside the rest of the Press and PR team.
To specifically coordinate fundraising PR opportunities working with you Marketing colleagues and to seek out PR in potential growth areas
To write , co-ordinate and issue media releases, briefing materials and features
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the setting and achieving of media coverage targets, leading on communications campaigns involving internal and external partners etc.
Must have proven skills of creative and effective use of PR tools and channels
You will be a a confident, clear and thorough communicator.
Experience of PR , Journalism or Press is ideal
This role is for 30 hours a week, 4 days a week........12 week Contract
