Are you an experienced special events fundraiser? Looking for your next opportunity in the charity sector?

Working with this amazing welfare charity, you will project manage and deliver the charities flagship and high-profile events, including supporting the committee and chairman in order to deliver agreed income, participation and profile-raising targets. While also working with the Head of Events to set and manage annual income and expenditure budgets, ensuring all expenditure is kept within agreed budgets. You will also deliver key supporting and stewardship to various other events such as satellite events, fundraisers and committee events. In addition, develop and deliver, creative and effective marketing plans for the flagship event. Produce and implement plans that utilises traditional and digital media working in partnership with the Communications team and plan multiple mailings (printed and electronic) to supporters ensuring all GDPR regulations are met. Manage relationships with various high-profile stakeholders, including communicating with masters and clerks to increase donations and participation at charity special events.

About you:
• Experienced fundraiser and/or significant charity fundraising experience, including: event experience as part of a fundraising team, setting income targets and meeting or exceeding them for events and experience managing large guest lists.
• Developing and executing a communications plan to increase attendance and grow income.
• Experience of recruiting and managing volunteers and working with a committee or group of supporters to inspire them towards a shared goal.
• Excellent people management and interpersonal skills; a real people person able to engage and motivate a very wide range of people.
• Highly computer literate and a competent user of charity fundraising databases; able to generate reports for analysis (Microsoft office, Word and mail merge, Excel)
• Willing and able to work occasional evenings and weekends and to travel, where required.
