Do you have experience of working within a direct marketing team? Are you passionate about delivering great supporter experience?

Our client, a leading children’s charity is looking for a Direct Marketing Officer to join their friendly and collaborative Direct Marketing team. The post holder will support the retention of the charity’s cash supporters through a range of channels, with specific emphasis on developing new digital campaigns. Produce campaign briefs and act as the main point of contact for any queries, proofing and issues. Collaborate with the supporter services team to update and refresh all letter/email copy as needed and provide high quality administrative support to multiple projects to enable the projects to run efficiently and effectively.

About you:
• Experience of working within a direct marketing team, through at least one annual marketing cycle. Ideally in a charity environment
• Previous experience in working on direct marketing campaigns across a variety of media (print, digital, direct mail, social)
• Passion for copywriting and editing of all forms of written communications
• Ability to provide high quality proofing, excellent eye for detail and a systematic approach to work.
• Experience of reporting financial information (not essential)
