The post holder will meet an ambitious yearly income target by developing relationships and leading on financial asks to a pool of high-level Major Donor prospects, as well as supporting the Senior Philanthropy and Trusts Manager, Senior Managers, Trustees and supporters to do the same. Networking regularly at events to create new avenues to new groups of donors and markets and bring in new prospects to the pool through rigorous identification and research. Produce and implement an annual work plan to achieve set budgetary targets and other key objectives. Ensuring this plan is monitored, accurate records are kept, and administration maintained. Along with supporting with the implementation of structured, outcome focused, small-scale events be they at the Home or at external venues, working alongside the Special Events Team to ensure events are tailored and suited to prospects’ needs.

About you:
• Proven experience of using different fundraising techniques including face-to-face influencing skills and prospect pool management.
• Experience of making asks of £25,000 plus
• Experience of working with well-known philanthropists and regular major donors
• A track record of success in engaging and recruiting new donors and establishing longstanding relationships
• Experience in forming an understanding of individuals ability and likelihood to give through research and data analysis and presenting these conclusions clearly
• IT literate with good experience of MS Office and other relevant IT systems (inc Databases) as appropriate for the role
