Do you have trust fundraising experience? Want to work for a leading welfare charity?

The Trust Fundraising Officer role requires the post holder to make around 150 applications per year to small and medium trusts (giving up to £20k). Develop and maintain a regular stewardship programme for trusts including project visits, meetings with operational staff and newsletters.
The successful applicant will also contribute to the production of promotional literature to increase trust support. Prepare and write regular progress reports to trusts, as appropriate and cultivate ongoing trust relationships. Research background information on trusts and foundations, including charitable interests, gift levels, annual income and personal contacts.

About you:
• Demonstrable account management experience as a trust fundraiser or similar role.
• Proven experience of using research methods in a charitable, business or academic field.
• Excellent writing skills, with the ability to condense complicated information into plain English.
• The ability to manage and prioritise a portfolio of trusts, working to deadlines and agreed targets.
• A sound understanding of the interests and working methods of trusts and foundations.
• Good administration skills including proficiency in using word processing, database and spreadsheet packages, (e.g. Microsoft Word, Access, Raiser’s Edge and Excel).
