This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the development of a growing major donor programme. Working closely with the Key Relationships Manager the post-holder will play an active part in identifying, researching, engaging and soliciting new major donors, as well as managing a portfolio of existing donors and ensuring that all supporters are stewarded to the highest standard. You will deliver innovative donor stewardship through a combination of regular telephone contact, face-to-face meetings, motivational proposals and cultivation events including arranging visits to projects and services.

About you:
• Experience of working in a fundraising environment, or in a client liaison role
• Experience of writing compelling fundraising or marketing materials
• Experience of writing detailed reports about charitable activities or equivalent
• Experience of successfully using a CRM system/database to record information and to analyse and extract data
• Ability to gather research material from a wide range of sources and present it in a clear and concise manner
• Demonstrable experience of developing relationships through face-to-face contact
