One of London’s most highly rated professional services firms are seeking a reliable and organised Events Coordinator to assist the running of their corporate events on a temporary basis. You will be proactive by nature and must be prepared to support in all areas of the Events process within this reputable firm. This is a temporary assignment lasting approximately 2 - 4 weeks.

Your duties may include:

• Researching and hiring external venues
• Liaising with suppliers – caterers, facilities, security
• Updating event calendars and diaries
• Creating the guest shortlist and organising invitations for delivery
• Producing events materials – brochures, gift bags, awards
• Producing events reports
• Ad-hoc administration support where required

You will have strong experience of successfully preparing and managing the running of corporate events and you must have excellent English skills, both written and verbal. Liaising with suppliers, clients and other members of your department is a key part of this role, so you must be well-presented and be articulate when communicating with others. You will rely on your self-motivation and natural organisation abilities to ensure all events run as smoothly as possible, preventing any unnecessary delays and preparing ahead for any potential challenges. Good time management skills and a strong work ethic are essential, as well as being able to use your initiative to adapt to new situations and solve any issues that may arise.
