Database Officer - Maine Charity - Children's Charity

The Database Officer role is pivotal to the fundraising programme and is responsible for the importing, maintenance, processing, export and analysis of supporter, financial, preference and other data held on Raiser's Edge (RE). This includes ensuring development and maintenance of practices and protocols to ensure data integrity and legal / regulatory compliance is maintained consistently throughout RE. This role will also manage the charity's direct debit and gift aid programmes as well as data analysis required by the Individual Giving and wider Fundraising team

Experience required:

Strong database management experience ideally Raiser's Edge but full training will be given
Experience of working with different types of data and knowledge of data import and export procedures is essential.
Data troubleshooting
IT literacy particularly in terms of databases, Excel and Word.
Ability to extract and analyse information from complex data sets.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to write accurate reports and records.
