Trust Fundraising Executive

A leading welfare charity is currently seeking a Trust Fundraising Executive to join its established partnerships team.
Reporting to the Head of partnerships you will be responsible for maintaining and developing income from trusts and foundations.

Key responsibilities will include;
• Drafting funding applications and reports, timely thanking and processing of donations
• Maintaining accurate and up to date records of trust fundraising activity on Raiser Edge Database, paper and electronic files
• Assisting with prospect research, trust cultivation events and management of suppliers.
• Supporting and advising regional colleagues on trust fundraising
• Liaising with the Grants & Welfare and Finance departments and other colleagues to ensure quality information is available for reports and bids to trust donors.
• Attending meetings with prospects and donors when appropriate.
• To undertake comprehensive prospect research to continue the growth of trusts and foundations to be approached.
To apply you should have/be;
• Experience of writing successful trust fundraising proposals and reports – or comparable documents
• Ability to organise, prioritise, implement, monitor and evaluate project plans and activities
• Experience of using databases, ideally the Raiser’s Edge
