Regular Giving and Public Fundraising Manager

Our client is a passionate and ambitious development organisation and a well known global movement with exciting plans towards a new five-year strategy. Their projects provide direct and indirect help to over 1.65 million people worldwide and they need someone to lead and develop a brand new public fundraising strategy with a particular focus on building an engaging regular giving offer from scratch. You will need to be a self-starter with entrepreneurial ideas and strong attention to detail.

The responsibilities of your role with include:

• Developing a good understanding of the profile, behaviour and motivations of the charity’s supporters and use towards building plans for methods of sustainable, unrestricted income.
• Implement a regular giving programme
• Work with colleagues in the Campaigns team to develop and integrate appropriate supporter journeys
• Work with colleagues in the campaigns team to support them to best deliver community fundraising
• Working with the Marketing, Digital and Creative Services teams, to promote giving alongside buying and acting across online and offline channels
• Using data intelligently to identify where the greatest opportunities exist, and take responsibility for driving changes necessary to harness them.
• Develop a strong ‘test and learn’ methodology which maximises return on investment, ensuring strong monitoring and evaluation is in place across all activities and report as required to relevant colleagues and line managers.

Person specification:
• Experience of developing and running successful individual and regular giving schemes
• Ability to lead and work in cross functional teams whose job it is to motivate people to buy and campaign as well as give.
• Experience of community fundraising would be beneficial
