Major Donor Manager

Our wonderful client is a fantastic health Charity based in Colchester. They are seeking a Major Donor Manager to gain new income from major donors, corporate partnerships and grant making trusts. In addition, you will manage a part time trust fundraiser and fundraising research intern and will be a key contributor to the overall fundraising development team, its campaigns and goals.

Key responsibilities:

-To research, cultivate, devise and deliver income from prospective major donors and companies
-To develop corporate partnerships and relevant initiatives such as charity of the year sponsorship and cause-related marketing initiatives
-To work with the trustees, senior staff and current supporters to engage them in mapping approaches to business leaders and HNWI’s
-To keep meticulous records of all approaches and their outcomes and to record all relevant information using the CRM system
-To ensure that Charity and the donor is able to take maximum advantage of tax efficient giving methods for major gifts
-To manage and develop the payroll giving initiatives
-To support the development of the Charity's Ambassadors’ group
-The ideal candidate will have be educated to degree level or equivalent with three years minimum major donor fundraising and relationship management experience working with high level personnel. They will also have demonstrable in-depth knowledge and proven ability in major donor fundraising, including soliciting five/six figure gifts.

Option to work from home a few days per week if required.
