HR Manager

HR Manager required for a communications firm; a creative environment where the team come from all kinds of disciplines including journalism, advertising and brand consultancy.
Together they are helping some of the worlds biggest brands and writing for web-sites, speeches, presentations, bids, letters and pretty much any communication.
You will look after a client group of 40 + employees in London and New York. Do you think you could look after a bunch of writers with all aspects of HR?
A stand-alone, generalist position which will give you lots of autonomy and you’ll report to the one of the Managing Partners.

In addition to the transactional day-to-day work you will work on bigger things including; culture, training, comp & bens, supporting stakeholders with coaching on performance management, succession planning, recruitment and retention, employee communication and compliance. Help create future strategies for the business.
A handful of your client group are in New York so you get to do some international work.

To be considered for this role, it goes without saying that you will need good writing skills! You will be a generalist HR expert who has worked in creative environments.
You will have your CIPD qualification. Past experience will include operational and strategic work, you will have demonstrated that you can truly partner with stakeholders and work closely with your client group. Must be prepared to roll your sleeves up and be hands on.
