Collections Agent | Essex | £30,400 OTE

A fantastic job opportunity for a Collections Agent, to work in a call centre for a short-term loan provider based in Loughton. You will be responsible for contacting existing customers and helping them get back on track by providing repayment solutions for loans they have taken out. This is a role that would suit somebody who has strong customer service and communication skills with empathy to deal with individuals in vulnerable situations.

They provide an intense two-week training program to give you all the skills needed to do well and reach those targets to increase your earnings. The culture is buzzy and you can expect to work in a busy call centre environment with supportive team leaders who lead by example. As the company have had solid success for a number of years now, they are looking to grow which means there are great progression opportunities for the right candidates.

You will need GCSE’s or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths with a minimum grade of C. The role does involve communicating through a high volume of emails and calculating interest rates on repayment schedules.

The hours are shift based, and you will need to work on a Saturday once a month with reduced hours. Standard working week is 5 days, so when you work on a Saturday you will have another day off instead. There is the opportunity to do overtime if you want to do extra hours.
