Our client a superb London based charity is looking for a Senior Major Donor Officer to join their Major Giving team who are a super and lively bunch. The team aim to continually find new supporters who can make a difference by giving large financial gifts while also looking after those who have already given.

Key responsibilities:
• Effectively manage multiple face-to-face relationships with higher level Major Donor prospects and influencers through targeted approaches.
• Bring in new people to the pool through rigorous identification and research.
• Support the Major Donor Manager, Senior Managers, the Chief Executive and Trustees with the development of relationships they hold with Major Donors or related relationships.
• Pass suitable leads to Major Donor Executives, and members of the Corporate, Trusts and Legacies team when they organically arise.
• Create new cases for support and develop existing ones. Match these up thoughtfully to appropriate donors.
• Measure retention and increase levels of repeat gifts.
• Develop exceptional relationship with internal stakeholders as well as operational staff and volunteers to be able to engage and inspire them in your work.
• Be open to innovation in the programme and seek out new approaches and techniques.
