Senior HR Advisor

Our client, a London based private hire company, requires a Senior HR advisor. A generalist Senior HR Advisor role which involves some strategic work. A lively environment, you’ll be very visible with the client group.

Main Duties

To provide professional HR advice and support on a wide range of issues including: Disciplinary, Grievance, Capability, TUPE, Redundancy, Employment legislation, HR best practice and contractual issues.
To develop and maintain collaborative and productive working relationships with all stakeholders establishing professional credibility.
Design and implement practical HR solutions to business issues in collaboration with the relevant management team.
Review and monitor establishment and produce proposals along with senior management for departmental restructures in order to deliver an improved service within existing or reduced establishment.
Support management in developing succession plans.
Provide statistical information and analysis to management and identify areas where HR interventions are required in order to improve business performance.
Support, advise and coach senior managers in the delivery of the people plan and the management of people/ER issues.
Provide advice and guidance to managers on pay and benefit reviews and make recommendations for changes.
To support the HR Manager and the wider HR team when required.

Ensure that at every opportunity that the services of the company are being promoted and marketed in a courteous and professional manner.

Be smart and well groomed; ensure that your appearance meets the high expectations of the Company.
Experience working in a live operational environment
Substantial knowledge of current employment legislation and experience of interpreting and applying this to cases
Experience of managing the people aspects of organisational change including restructure projects and TUPE transfers
Level 5 CIPD Qualification or equivalent experience
Ability to establish credibility with management layers across the business
Impeccable IT skills (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across the company
Negotiation and influencing skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
Good time management skills
Flexibility and ability to work in a team
Ability to facilitate change and implement solutions which support enhanced business performance
