London Campaign Coordinator

A small and incredible Charity with lovely, modern offices are seeking a London Campaign Coordinator for a three year funded post to lead and coordinate activities on poverty in London. The individual with play a vital role in working with organisations and networks so that the voice of the Charity is strategically focused on Poverty.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing expertise to the organisation on causes and impacts on Poverty as well as solutions to the problem.
Providing concise briefings for internal and external audiences, including submissions to the national government and Local Mayor.
To ensure national policymakers understand poverty issues in London by lobbying and campaigning.
Writing regular articles for various publications and contribute to the website.
Supporting hosting and campaigning activities.
Representing the Charity at relevant events.
Supervising the work of volunteers and temporary staff.
Taking on any reasonable tasks to contribute to achievement of the job purpose.
The ideal candidate will be degree (or equivalent) educated and have experience with policy and lobbying surrounding poverty.
