The purpose of the role is to provide outstanding executive administrative and secretarial support to the Company Secretary, and to work closely with the Board’s EA to ensure smooth running of the department. Key responsibilities will involve managing the Company Secretary’s diary and where relevant ensuring the assembling of necessary documents, coordination of travel and arrangement of a comprehensive itinerary prior to all trips. As the Executive Assistant to the Company Secretary, you will be privy to confidential correspondences and papers, including team confidential matters, discretion is crucial in this position. All arrangements for meetings and conference calls will need planning and preparation in advance, with all relevant information distributed to all parties involved in good time so experience of managing a demanding amount of work with high attention to detail is very important. EAs who are able to prioritise and work efficiently in a positive, calm and collected manner will find that they are successful in this role.
